Through the Looking Glass

This was the sequel to Alice and Wonderland. I liked it. It was very strange.

Butterflies

This book was about Katherine a girl who was burned in a really bad accident when she was two years old. She has had many reconstructive surgeries over the years. She is about to graduate from high school. This talks about her struggles with being burned and how she feels like a beast inside. She desires to be perfect by having one more reconstructive surgery. I really enjoyed this story. It really showed the inner struggles of a girl who doesn’t feel beautiful. How she wanted to be perfect and feel normal. The biggest thing I got out of this story was finding a way to love yourself and letting other people love you as well.

Living Courageously: You Can Face Anything, Just Do It Afraid

This book was excellent!!! The first part was about what makes us afraid, where fear comes from, and how to have courage. The second part was about the different types of fears that we have. Then she gave scriptures and tips on how to overcome the fears too.

What if Your Blessings Come Through Raindrops

This book was a 30 daily devotional. Each chapter contained thoughts, prayers, and a journaling page for you to recall blessings you have seen in your own life. It was very good. Plus I personally met the author.

Battlefield Of The Mind: Winning The Battle In Your Mind

This book was excellent!!! The book was separated into 3 sections. Section one is about the importance of the mind. Section two is about the conditions of the mind. The third section was about wilderness mentalities. She had real-life examples of how God helped her change her mind. Then she talked about strategies to help change your mind.

101 Ways To Find God's Purpose For Your Life

This book was okay. I found it a little boring because I knew basically all of the information already because I have been working really hard on finding God's Purpose in my life. I would recommend it for newer Christians.

Alice in Wonderland

I reread this book which is weird for me. I never reread books but I wanted to see what I remembered about the story. Alice fell through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world of nonsense. This book was hard to describe because it doesn't follow any particular plot. It is considered to be one of the best examples of the literary nonsense genre. I enjoyed reading this book because it reminds the reader about just being yourself and having an imagination.
